My name is Connor Russo, I’m 20 years old, and have spent the last 16 years of my life not only playing, but developing and acquiring life skills that I will take with me for the rest of my life through this incredible sport. I was a career A and AA player, and was looked at as a smaller player by my coaches and opponents, but because of my work ethic, passion, and love for the game, I was able to make the AAA Toronto Marlboros, and finally play for the OJHL’s Jr. A Aurora Tigers, where I was named Assistant Captain, and offered the captaincy in my final year.
Because of this, I believe work ethic and a passion to get better on the part of the player, in addition to a coach who possesses leadership abilities, the skills to provide the proper training, and the knowledge of how to navigate minor and elite hockey is the perfect combination, to produce not only a great hockey player, but a great person.
